  • Meet professors, coaches and current students, attend classes, and learn about our majors
  • Get an insider's view of campus life by staying overnight in a dorm, eating meals with current students in our dining hall, and attending exclusive sessions only offered during Bruin Preview
  • Attend department showcases, where you can meet professors in the major you're interested in, see how our professors care for their students, and tour department facilities

Bruin Preview is a free event for incoming students,
which includes:

  • Free lunch in our dining hall for students and their guests
  • Free dinner and breakfast for overnight visitors
  • Free ÐÔÊÀ½ç´«Ã½ T-shirt
  • Free transportation for students
  • When you attend Bruin Preview, you'll qualify for the $1,000 annual Visit Experience Scholarship , pending admission, in one great visit!

Stay Overnight in a Dorm

High school seniors and college transfers (ages 16-23 only) are invited to stay overnight* in one of our dorms with a current student.

Your host will meet you at check-in when you arrive on Thursday, October 30, 2025. You'll need to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel and toiletries. Try to get a little sleep, OK?

*Overnight stays have limited availability. Sign up by October 16, 2025, to reserve your spot.

Transportation

Transportation is available from the Portland airport, train station or bus depot for students traveling from outside the local area without a parent or guardianFor local students (30-mile radius) who do not have any way to get to campus, transportation is available.

If you need transportation, please submit the  with your travel itinerary by October 16. We will then follow up with you regarding shuttle details.

If you'll be driving yourself to/from the airport, keep in mind that it's about an hour away from campus.

Join us for sessions that address your questions specifically and meet with and hear from ÐÔÊÀ½ç´«Ã½ faculty, admissions counselors, financial aid counselors, coaches and current students.
